SanteHaiti inaugurates a new program

SanteHaiti realized on March 17, 2019 a day of activity at “Center of Refuge Orphenage”, an orphanage located in the city of Jacmel. This is a new program inaugurated by SanteHaiti, which has been carrying out an annual mission in the country for nearly 10 years to provide healthcare to the poorest.
The non-profit organization SanteHaiti was with the children of the Center of Refuge Orphenage during the month of March. More than fifty children and adolescents were examined by Dr. Jonathan Philippe with the support of the nurse practitioner Esther Jean. The children received medications, including multivitamins, antibiotics, painkillers and antacids, among others.
At the same time, coming from the United States of America with Dr. Philippe, Johanne Masson, with the precious help of local SanteHaiti staff, distributed toys, clothes and shoes to the children. Those children also received a hot meal at the end of the day. The people in charge of the orphanage received food provisions on behalf of the children.
Special thanks to everyone, those included in organizing this event and other individuals who, in one way or another, have contributed to the implementation of this new program. At the same time, SanteHaiti is once again soliciting the help of all for the realization of its annual mission next June.
